Welcome Weekend 2008
{February 8-10}
WELCOME WEEKEND is a time for prospective students to discover CLBI.
Whether you want to experience dorm life, find out what classes are like, or be immersed in the relational atmosphere of the CLBI community, WELCOME WEEKEND is the perfect time to bring your questions. CLBI students host the weekend
activities which include plenty of time to hang out, a coffeehouse, small group discussions, and worship.
The WELCOME WEEKEND 2008 speaker is Pastor Kirk Militzer from Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church in
Moorhead, Minnesota. Pastor Kirk Militzer often dreams about becoming the new King of England, if he could just pull out this sword from the stone!
He is overwhelmed by the gift of his bride of 20 years, Julie. He loves being a dad to three outstanding kids – Danielle (16), Joshua (14) and Josiah (11). He is the proud owner of a Shitzu puppy – Zoe.
He is humbled to be a part of a great church in Moorhead, Minnesota @ Triumph Lutheran Brethren Church. He thanks God often for the privilege of being a pastor to students and their families.
He never gets tired of hearing and marveling about God’s grace.
He also loves to laugh.
