community student program

A program of the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute

Campus (grain).jpg

designed for
students enrolled in

college or university

This program offers a Christ-centered, intentional Christian community for students enrolled in other university or college programs. In other words, students can attend university classes online (or at a nearby institution) all while living on the CLBI campus and being involved in the community.

THE COMMUNITY STUDENT PROGRAM (CSP)
provides one of the most important aspects of the post-secondary student experience: a quality living environment. In other words, it is a reliable, affordable, and overall beneficial experience that cares for the whole well-being of each student. The beauty of this program is that we get to emphasize the intentional Christian community focus of CLBI.

Community (bw).jpg
  • Who is eligible to apply for CSP?
Any student enrolled in a university or college program outside of CLBI

  • If CLBI classes are not included in CSP, what aspects of CLBI should I expect to be a part of?
    Everything outside of classes, including:
    - Meals & work duties
    - Morning/Evening Prayer, Chapel & Worship times
    - Community life & Dorm activities
    - Weekly Discipleship-Groups
    - One-on-Ones
    - Off-campus retreats
    - Special events

(classes & out-trips available at additional cost)

  • If I'm taking online courses, why should I join this program instead of living at home?
The online school experience can be convenient, but can also be isolating. We were designed to live in relationship with others (Gen. 1:26-27), so the main objective of the CSP is intentional Christian community (connection & discipleship with others).

  • How would CSP differ from living at university/college housing?
Simply put, you will be an important part of our community. Our campus is an environment that not only contributes & cares for your personal & social life, but for you spiritual & devotional life as well.
