Living together in intentional Christian community is an integral part of the CLBI experience. It not only provides an excellent way to make and develop life-long friendships, but it's also how the patterns and rhythms of CLBI life are best experienced: together. In CLBI life together, God graciously gives fellowship, connection, and formation!

Our staff are also involved in the discipling community. CLBI staff members seek to involve students in their own personal journeys. Students are placed in "D-Groups" (discipleship groups) that meet weekly and are staff-led. In addition to these weekly small groups, students also connect with their leaders in regular 1-on-1 meetings.

It is the perfect sized community that offers all of the educational, recreational, and entertainment options of a thriving city, yet offers the convenience and security of a rural way of life. From its festivals, special events, attractions, and recreation/leisure opportunities, Camrose is a prime location for post-secondary students to call home.

The Community Student Program (CSP) provides one of the most important parts of the post-secondary student experience and one of the most important aspects of CLBI!

How?

The CSP offers a reliable, affordable, and overall beneficial living experience that cares for the whole well-being of each student. The beauty of the CSP is that we get to emphasize one of the best and more unique parts of CLBI: intentional Christian community.

While CSP students attend classes in a separate program, what they receive at CLBI is the benefit of all standard parts of the community, like dorm-life, worship, discipleship, and more!

The regular CLBI program offers week-long modules taught by experienced, engaging, and knowledgable instructors, some of whom are also world-renowned in their field.

Some of these classes are open to the public to audit, or take for credit (in-person or online). In addition to things such as Open Classes, CLBI organizes and hosts youth and young adults events, Open Houses, community events and more.
